Youth Exchange “Memory and Postmemory” in Krakow 15-22 September 2022

  |   News, Opportunities

Are you a student living in Germany aged between 18-26 years old?

Are you interested in history, memorial (remembrance) culture, and human rights?

Then, you are more than welcome to join the Polish-German-Italian student-exchange project “Memory and Post-Memory” in Krakow, from 15-22 September 2022!

This project is supported by the Deutsch-Polnisches Jugendwerk (DPJW).

The “Memory and Post-Memory” project is an 8-day meeting of students coming from Germany, Poland, and Italy, with the aim of deepening the knowledge of young people about the Memory and Post-Memory of the Holocaust and the occupation of Polish lands by Nazi Germany during World War II and interpreting this tragic period in a contemporary way in relation to problems occurring currently in the world, such as human rights violations, exclusion, xenophobia or manifestations of discrimination.

If you are interested in the history of the 20th century, as well as in human rights, you want to spend a week in Krakow, a city full of history and culture, and meet other students from Italy and Poland then, this program is for you!

Please download here the full description of the programme and the project agenda!
