Kick-Off Meeting of the CROWDFUNDING project in Bratislava

  |   News

The beginning of the year has been full of meetings for new and exciting projects! This time, on the 31st of January and the 1st of February 2023, JKPeV represented by Stefan Kiehne, the Chairman of our association, had the pleasure to participate in the Kick-off Meeting of the CROWDFUNDING Erasmus+ KA2 project in Bratislava (Slovakia) coordinated by Bratislava Policy Institute from Slovakia. Representatives from European Crowdfunding Network (Belgium), Tree Agency (Estonia), Puglia Creativa (Italy), Goteo (Spain) joined the kick-off meeting as official partners of the project consortium.

The project “Crowdfunding Digital Academy for Local Creative and Cultural Industries” will develop a Crowdfunding Digital Academy for Cultural and Creative Industries- an online platform co-designed in order to train partners’ staff, cultural professionals, and operators on using crowdfunding to launch or boost their projects.

The project has three main objectives:

(1) the creation of a range of skills and knowledge about crowdfunding in the cultural and creative sector,

(2) enhancing the capacities of CCIs professionals and entrepreneurs on digital financing opportunities at the local and national level and

(3) the encouragement of a cultural development strategy for interactive training activities in the countries involved (BE, DE, EE, ES, IT, SK) and in the European context.

During the Kick-off Meeting partners discussed the various steps of the project implementation, the tasks, and deliverables based on the timeframe of the project. The meeting ended with a nice dinner with the participation of all partners.

Crowdfunding project consortium: Bratislava Policy Institute – coordinator (Slovakia), European Crowdfunding Network (Belgium), Tree Agency (Estonia), Puglia Creativa (Italy), Goteo (Spain) and Jugend- & Kulturprojekt e.V. (Germany).
