What a wonderful musical reading of ICH WAND’RE DURCH THERESIENSTADT last Friday at the Kulturpalast in Dresden!
The evening was a powerful reminder of the life and work of the people in Theresienstadt, musically accompanied by the magnificent Ensemble Opus 45 with actor Roman Knižka. Many thanks to all the guests who shared this special moment with us! We were particularly moved by the performance of the students from Dresden, who touched our hearts with their performance – your commitment was inspiring!
Special thanks go to the umbrellaship of the mayor of Dresden, who, with his support, has given this project a special appreciation. We would also like to thank the 2nd mayoress Eva Jähnigen for her opening words and her support, which initiated the evening in a valuable way. Without the great team of the Kulturpalast Dresden, this evening would not have been possible in this form – our deepest thanks also go to you for the excellent organisation and cooperation.
We warmly invite you to our next musical reading ICH WAND’RE DURCH THERESIENSTADT, which will take place on 21 November at 6:00 pm at the Terezín Memorial. Simply register by emailing info@jkpev.de.
