Ich wand’re durch Theresienstadt – The 4th Newsletter is here!
Ich wand’re durch Theresienstadt demonstrates how a living culture of remembrance can build bridges between the past and the future. Through concerts, workshops, and documentary films, the project invites you to rediscover history through art and the voices of youth.
A special highlight was the final concert at the Theresienstadt Memorial: actor Roman Knižka and the wind quintet Opus 45 moved the audience with texts and music from the ghetto. Holocaust survivor Edith Erbrich shared her touching life story – a moment that will resonate for a long time.
The upcoming documentary films capture the creative workshops and concerts. Over 2,500 students from across Germany participated in this unique project that brings history to life through art.
