Project Manager

Doreen Siegmund holds a Master’s degree in German Linguistics and Philosophy from TU Dresden with a focus on philosophy of language, semantics, metaphysics and epistemology. She has worked as a journalist, editorial director of a cultural magazine and project manager of a Dresden start-up.

Since 2021 she has been working with Jugend- & Kulturprojekt e.V. as project coordinator and project manager. She plans, implements and administers local, national and EU-funded projects, supports the EU programme manager, and manages both national and international initiatives. Her work focuses on topics such as digitalisation and digital literacy, mental health and well-being, entrepreneurship and the creative economy, civic participation, cultural heritage and sustainability.

She designs and delivers training and workshops for professionals, young people and citizens, and organises cultural, educational and artistic events fostering interdisciplinary exchange and social participation. Additionally, she plays a key role in fundraising, writing applications at local, regional and national levels, and is responsible for public relations and the dissemination of project results.
