A new training offer made for 10 talented and motivated young migrant integration leaders!

 

Are you over 18 years old and you are interested in intercultural exchange and in developing your social and civic competences?

Are you already working or volunteering in the field of integration?

 

Are you still looking for the right place to get involved and have a strong impact on the young migrant population of your local community?

 

Then, this training is tailored for you!

EXEMPLAR training offers a unique opportunity to young people with migrant background who wish to further develop their life and professional skills and experiment with innovative approaches in order to find solutions to the persistent problem of social and civic integration of migrant youth.

The main topics which we are going to focus on are the following:

  1. Integration & Me
  2. Inter-cultural Awareness & Competence
  3. Effective Communication
  4. Selfcare
  5. Engagement Strategies
  6. Facilitating Groups
  7. Managing Micro Networks
  8. IT-Skills & Social Media

 

Upon the successful completion of the EXEMPLAR training, you will become a Young Migrant Integration Leader who will then is going to transfer the acquired knowledge and skills to your local network having an impact on the young migrant population of your local community.

 

Location & Time

When: from the 12th to the 14th of May 2021 / 17:00 – 20:00

 

Where: The self-directed learning will be entirely done online based on the EXEMPLAR online learning portal

 

Registration: please apply online until the 7th of May

 

Participation fee: The EXEMPLAR training is part of the Erasmus+ strategic partnership project EXAMPLAR, funded by the European Commission and is free of charge.

 

The selection of the 10 young migrant integration leaders will be mainly based on the motivation of the applicants not only to participate in this training but also to transfer the acquired competencies to their micro networks.

 

The training will be held in German.
