Vernissage FACES by Ric Uhlmann last Friday @ Full Moon Gallery
Last Friday, FACES, the current exhibition by Ric Uhlmann, was ceremoniously opened in the Full Moon Gallery under the full moonlight with wonderful background music by DJ Kurrt. It was only four years ago that the young Dresden artist discovered drawing with pencil and charcoal. Far from classical art training, his journey as an artist began with a simple visit to a stationery shop. An impulse led him to buy a pencil and a sketchpad – his fascination with faces and their manifold expressive possibilities shaped him as a portrait draughtsman. His unique portrait drawings are on display at the Full Moon Gallery until 28 September.
!The Full Moon Gallery participates with the exhibition FACES in the DCA OPEN and the Neustadt Art Festival on 23 September!
